Introductory Mountaineering Courses
14 Days Ex-Delhi

There is nothing like climbing in the Himalayas, and what better place to learn the ropes? An attempt to provide aspiring mountaineers with the best training in the best possible venue is justification behind our Introductory Course. We have highly trained staff in perfect surroundings within easy access from our base in Manali to provide instruction in the basic necessary mountaineering skills.

After a long journey from Delhi to Manali we will have a day of theory and preparation for our expedition. An easy walk from Manali, we establish a base camp at the foot of the glaciers and snowfields that will provide the training ground to gain all the knowledge required to tackle mountains on your own. 6 days will be devoted to the development of both snow and ice craft which includes the use of crampons, snow and ice anchors and belays, glacier travel, self arrest, crevasse rescue and ice climbing.

Following the successful completion of the above requirements we'll move into the surrounding mountains learning the important skills of establishing high camps.

Everyone is welcome to join us provided you have a keen desire to learn and an accepting attitude with regard to the environment.

Climbing Courses are specially designed for people who wish to learn the skill of mountaineering and the mountain environment in the greatest mountain range in the world. With our Everest summitteer, Rajiv Sharma, as your guide you will be in capable hands to learn the basics of mountaineering.
